These large-scale kiosks are primarily used to house substantial infrastructure such as power substations, gas governor sets, large water pump control systems, telecommunications hubs, and standby generators. They provide a secure, weather-protected room for both equipment and personnel.
Depending on the size, walk-in enclosures are either delivered fully assembled on a flatbed vehicle (hiab) for immediate placement onto a concrete plinth, or they are supplied in modular panels (flat-pack) to be bolted together on-site if access is restricted.
Our walk-in enclosures can be fully customized with internal lighting, heating, ventilation (including forced air or natural louvres), emergency 'push-bar' exit hardware, and specialized floor finishes like anti-slip or open-mesh flooring.
Yes. Most industrial GRP kiosks are manufactured using fire-retardant resins. We can supply units that offer 30-minute or 60-minute fire resistance, which is often a mandatory requirement for housing electrical transformers or gas equipment.
In many industrial or utility applications, these fall under 'permitted development.' However, due to their size, we always recommend checking with your local planning authority, especially if the unit is visible to the public or located in a protected area.
Absolutely. Most walk-in models feature large double doors as standard or as an option to allow for the easy installation and eventual replacement of large machinery and control panels.
