The GLV50 galvanised steel feeder pillar provides a compact, robust housing for outdoor electrical equipment. Measuring 250mm wide × 150mm deep × 750mm high, it is suited to installations where space is limited and a durable root mounted enclosure is required.
Handmade in England from 3mm HR4 mild steel, the GLV50 is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 for corrosion resistance. Its detachable painted root supports ground installation, with the ground level clearly marked to assist positioning.
An 18mm fully treated, exterior-grade plywood backboard provides a mounting surface for electrical components, while the 140mm working depth helps installers plan the internal layout. The door is secured with an 8mm triangular-key camlock, and door seals designed to IP55 help limit dust and water ingress.
